Jay O’Keefe has been writing for six years, but he has been creating worlds in his head for far longer. He draws inspiration from all of his interests from childhood to today, including fantasy book series, far too many video games, and even shonen anime. His debut novel, Mattson Academy, is his love letter to all of the above and more. Jay writes by feeling, rarely thinking too far ahead and letting the story, and the unruly characters, take him wherever is most interesting in the moment. When not writing, Jay enjoys sketching, and playing board games with his family.
